
Marianne Dahlén was awarded a Ph.D in Law from the University of Uppsala with her thesis being titled, ‘The Negotiable Child: The ILO Child Labour Campaign 1919-1973′. Her research interests include child labour, international organizations, and legal history. As well as her involvement with COUNTER she is currently working on a post-doctoral project about brands at the end of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, a project that is tied to a newly launched Centre for Business History at Uppsala.
