Mateja Kos Koklic (BA in Architecture- 2001; MS in Business Administration majoring in Finance and Marketing- 2003). Mateja joined the Department of Marketing at the Faculty of Economics – University of Ljubljana as a research assistant and doctoral student in September 2003. She completed her Ph.D. in 2007 with the dissertation titled “Perceived Risk in Case of Buying a Prefabricated House” ( Dissertation advisor – dr. I. Vida). As part of her PhD training she spent six months at Duke University in USA where she attended consumer behavior graduate program. After her PhD studies she worked in the market research agency (GfK Slovenia) as a Research Consultant (various projects, mostly in consumer durables and telecommunications). Her research focuses on consumer behavior, more specifically, consumer decision making, risk perception and strategic household purchases; her interests also extend to emotion and well-being from consumer’s perspective. She attended ACR doctoral symposium and presented her research findings at several international conferences.
